Founded in 1998, the company produces and finances scripted television, narrative films, and theater productions. The company has earned eight Academy Award nominations, an Academy Award win, a Peabody Award win, an Olivier win and a Tony win. Echo Lake’s management division represents a curated list of highly successful actors, writers, IP creators and directors from all over the world.

The company recently produced Hulu’s “The Great” which was nominated for numerous awards in its three seasons. Its most recent production, the Stan original series “Sunny Nights” starring Will Forte and D’Arcy Carden, is currently shooting in Sydney, Australia. In 2022 Echo Lake produced its first play, “Prima Facie,” starring Jodie Comer. Its West End run won the company its first Olivier Award and its Broadway run earned Comer a Tony Award for Best Actress. Echo Lake’s most recent theater production, “Stereophonic,” premiered on Broadway in April, receiving a record breaking 13 Tony Nominations and winning the Tony Award for Best Play.
